Referrals from Te Whatu Ora – Waitaha Canterbury | Health New Zealand, Specialist Mental Health Services, General Practice (GPs), or other NGO mental health or addiction service providers. Self-referrals are not accepted.
The service provides support and guidance to develop tools and resources towards areas such as budgeting, social skills, leisure/recreation, communication, conflict resolution, home based support and personal hygiene. This less – intense support, ensures time to connect and enhance relationships within the person’s life so they can continue to live in their chosen environment and enhance their skills to maintain their wellness and independence.
